Formina: a gelato brand identity

Formina was a new family-owned Italian gelato brand at Lake Balaton. We created its gelato brand identity, from the logo and cups to the cart and website.

What was the problem?

Formina started as a new, family-owned Italian gelato brand by Lake Balaton. As a new brand, it needed its identity built from scratch.

The brief was clear: a Balaton gelato place for a family-owned Italian gelato maker. The brand had to feel Italian and belong to the lake at the same time.

We created the complete gelato brand identity in 2025. Everything a customer sees came from us, from the logo to the cart.

• Identity: logo and the full brand identity.

• Packaging: cups and packaging.

• In store: menu boards, signage and uniforms.

• Online: the website and social media templates.

• The cart: a 3D design for the gelato cart.

A custom cart built on a ready-made one

The gelato cart started as a pre-made model. We rebuilt it in 3D and extended it with extra elements in the Formina identity. The factory then customised the cart to our 3D design.
