Invensol SAM: a workplace and desk booking app

What was the problem?

Hybrid work after COVID-19 left offices with changing occupancy, and companies needed a way to book shared desks and rooms. Invensol built SAM for that, and for much more than desk booking: facilities, assets, vehicles and internal requests all run through it.

SAM has to work for employees who book a desk on their phone and for the administrators who run the office, so it needed a mobile app, a web application and an administration platform.

What we delivered

Our role: UX and UI on three surfaces

We designed the UX and the UI for the SAM mobile app, the web application and the administration platform, in 2023. SAM is live.

The smart lockers run on Bluetooth hardware that we did not develop, and development was not part of our scope. Our part was the design of the experience around them.
